SanSewerCleanout is a point feature class. The feature class orginiated in the prod geodatabase under prod.GIS.manholes with a field specifying which points were known cleanouts. The data was exported and used to create a separate feature class of only cleanouts. As the entire sanitation sewer system was spatially corrected using GPS, known cleanouts were relocated to be in line with the new sewer mains and GPS manholes. As these features are generally buired it is the policy of Public Works, if found, to replace cleanouts with a surface manhole to be able to locate these points. |
