Description: SanSewerManhole is a point feature class. The feature class was created before Cartegraph Go Live in November 2019 by Public Works using GPS Trimble units to locate manholes. The SanSewerLegacyManhole feature class, which orginiated in the prod geodatabase under prod.GIS.manholes, was used for spatial reference of the newly geolocated manholes. Adiditionally, atttribute data from SanSewerLegacyManhole was transfered over based on the Cartegraph_ID for all of the new GPS manholes. Abandoned manholes, dead ends, flow splitting, meter station, none, and serlive line under lgMH_ObjectType in SanSewerLegacyManhole were not transferred to this new dataset as they are not needed to preform work against.
Description: SanSewerCleanout is a point feature class. The feature class orginiated in the prod geodatabase under prod.GIS.manholes with a field specifying which points were known cleanouts. The data was exported and used to create a separate feature class of only cleanouts. As the entire sanitation sewer system was spatially corrected using GPS, known cleanouts were relocated to be in line with the new sewer mains and GPS manholes. As these features are generally buired it is the policy of Public Works, if found, to replace cleanouts with a surface manhole to be able to locate these points.
Description: SanSewerMain is a polyline feature class. The feature class orginiated in the prod geodatabase under prod.GIS.main. Before Cartegraph Go Live in November 2019, the SanSewerMain feature class was spatially edited to align with the GPS manholes in the SanSewerManholes feature class. Topology was then applied to this feature class to assure a manhole, cleanout, or dead end covered the start and end points of each sewer main.
